Ever since I started working, I have been moving forward with a sense of longing, craving wealth, success, happiness, and everything I desire. I was always eager for more, yet I neglected the help offered by my family, colleagues, and friends around me. Taking advantage of this “Season of Gratitude” initiative, I would like to express my feelings a little. . . (1) I remember when I first started working after graduating; I joined a branch factory of my current company as an operator. At that time, I knew nothing – I didn’t even understand what towers or vessels were. I am grateful to the experienced workers at that factory for patiently explaining things to me. As a beginner, I often asked the same questions over and over again when I didn’t understand something. Those experienced workers showed us every corner of the facility and explained things to us in practical terms. Even now, when I go back to that factory, I can still recall what they told me: what this valve is used for, how to operate this heat exchanger. Without you all, I might have left the industry I work in by now. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. 2016 – wish you good health and success in your work. (2) Due to the company’s needs, I was transferred from the branch factory to the head office to work on project management. Since I had previously been involved in production, I knew nothing about projects at first. With the help of my supervisors and colleagues at that time, I gradually learned about drawings, materials, installation companies, suppliers, and design firms, and thus understood the process of bringing a facility from scratch to completion. Therefore, I am grateful for the selfless assistance provided by my supervisors and colleagues during that period; I am thankful for their guidance, which has been useful to me to this day. In 2016, I wish you all success in everything you do and smooth progress in your work. (3) I am grateful to the company for everything it has done for me. Later, while working on projects at the branch factory, I had many opportunities to travel on business, meeting various people from different companies, installation teams, and design firms. This experience enriched my knowledge, gave me a broader perspective, and allowed me to understand how a factory is developed from scratch. There were several opportunities to change jobs, but I declined them all. Although my current situation is somewhat difficult, at least this company has given me the chance to learn and improve myself. One should be grateful, and thankful to those who give you everything when you have nothing. In 2016, I wish the company continued success and prosperity. PS: I don’t want to write any more.
