I’ve received two offers at the same time; I hope everyone can give me some advice

I have been working in a chemical plant since graduating from university in 2010, engaged in front-line production tasks and having been involved in end-to-end development of a large-scale chemical project (from civil engineering, installation, water system integration to commissioning). Now I have received offers from two companies: one is a design firm with Class A qualifications, and the other specializes in software simulation for chemical production (the same kind of software used in university for simulating ammonia synthesis with Dongfang Simulation). How should I make my choice? I hope those who are knowledgeable can offer some advice. Personally, I think working at a design firm would be beneficial for my future career development
It depends on each person’s opinion! No one will know your actual situation, and there is no remedy for regrets. No one can predict the overall market situation.

Who knows what the future holds! You can seek advice from people around you.
Personally, I think design institutes are more accurate
But in recent years, design firms have also shrunk significantly; without any projects to work on, they are truly left with nothing but to wait for death
Being able to gain the attention of a design institute after working in a factory for five years is possible either because of one’s strong skills, or because the leaders hired by that design institute are very pragmatic, or have had similar experiences. Many companies are unwilling to hire people who have worked in factories. I envy the original poster; if you’re not going to introduce me, then do it for me.
I don’t have any special skills. During the interview, I talked about my experience, and after he asked a few questions he decided to hire me. The person who interviewed me seemed to have previously worked in design, equipment installation, and debugging
If it were me, I would be more likely to choose an engineering design firm.
