Service life of safety helmets: calculated from the date of completion of product manufacturing. 1. Hats woven from plant branches should not be used for more than two years. 2. Plastic caps and paper-gummed caps should not exceed two and a half years. 3. The rubber cap made of fiberglass (vinyl steel) should not last more than three and a half years. The production date of a safety helmet can be seen on the inner side of its front brim, but only the month of production is indicated; the specific day is not shown. Helmets that are past their expiration date need to be tested. If they pass the test, they can continue to be used, but regular testing is still required, presumably on a monthly basis. If a helmet fails a test at any point, the entire batch must be discarded
Ideally, it would be best to replace it right this month – it’s convenient, fast, and safe!
It would be best if your boss could delay things by as much as one day, if only.

No testing is needed; it’s safest to replace it directly when it expires. It is to be distributed as personal protective equipment.
My safety helmet was manufactured on May 20, 2015, with a shelf life of 30 months; I replaced it just last week.
Safety helmets generally need to be replaced every two years. The fiberglass parts of these helmets have fields indicating the date and month; they should be replaced after two years. Even if there is no damage, aging can occur, so it’s better to replace them ahead of time when the time comes.
