I’m having a hard time adjusting from chemical engineering design to pharmaceutical design. That expert also has similar experience – could you share some tips?

Personally, I think medical devices are smaller and more sophisticated, and I like to arrange them inside buildings. Petrochemical facilities are larger, with bigger equipment and thicker pipelines, and more are arranged in an open-air manner.
Active pharmaceutical ingredients are actually quite similar to chemicals; it’s just fine chemical manufacturing. There are various forms such as formulations, tablets, infusions, powders, and so on – it seems complicated, and I’m not even sure how to organize them all
Just work on a few more projects. When I first started working with clean rooms and powder injection formulations, I found them complicated as well, but once I got used to it, I just needed to stay focused and do the job. Things such as functional zoning, the flow of people and goods, etc., all require careful consideration; having someone with experience to guide you can make things much easier.
