Dear Haiyou who knows everything, could you please explain to me about pipeline steam shooting and purging blasting? Thank you
“\"Blasting\" refers to the explosive cleaning of pipelines, and it is commonly used for large-diameter pipes. The sealing material can vary depending on the blasting pressure; options include cardboard, plastic sheets, rubber sheets, aluminum sheets with pre-marked lines, and blast discs. “\"Target shooting\" refers to a method for testing the final results of pipeline purging. Depending on the purging medium and operating conditions, target plates made of different materials (paper, wood, aluminum, etc.) are selected and installed vertically at a certain distance from the purging outlet. Purging is carried out at a specified pressure for a set period of time, after which the plates are removed to check the degree of contamination or any traces present.
What was said upstairs is correct. In our facility, the pipelines used for shooting practice are the steam pipelines that supply steam to the turbines, while for blasting and purging, material pipelines are utilized. We use kraft paper for blasting. Many layers stacked on top of each other, making a lot of noise
