Foam elimination system maintenance

This is how we carry out our routine inspections: 1. The fire pumps and backup power sources should be tested by starting them once a week. 2. Monthly, visual inspections should be conducted on low-, medium-, and high-expansion foam generators, foam nozzles, fixed foam guns, foam proportioning mixers (devices), and foam liquid storage tanks to ensure they are in good condition and undamaged. 3. Monthly inspections should be carried out on the rotation mechanism, elevation mechanism, or electric control mechanism of fixed foam guns, and their performance must meet the standard requirements. 4. Foam fire hydrants and valves should be inspected once a month; the valves should open and close smoothly and should not be rusted. 5. Monthly inspections should be carried out on pressure gauges, pipe filters, flexible hoses, pipes, and fittings; the instruments, devices, and fittings must not be damaged. 6. The remote control function, automatic control systems, and operating mechanisms should be inspected on a monthly basis, ensuring that their performance meets the design requirements. 7. Rust deposits in the low- and medium-expansion foam mixture risers on the storage tank should be removed monthly. 8. The operating condition of the power source and electrical equipment should be checked monthly, and it should be in good working condition.
