Regarding timeout failures of DI cards

Has anyone encountered a timeout issue with the DI card of an SIS card? What could be the possible causes? Thank you
I know about the do timeout issue. What about di? It seems there’s no fault monitoring either; how can there be a timeout? Could it be that the card has lost its connection?
There are about a dozen SIS manufacturers; you need to specify which one it is so that we can have a targeted discussion
