What is the difference between softened water, boiler water, and demineralized water?
The softened water and deionized water here are the same thing. The boiler water is deoxygenated water.

It has been noted that the concept of softened water is not applied in a consistent manner; different companies have varying understandings of it. Literally, it means no scaling occurs – deionized water ; However, many facilities also refer to water that has been desalted as well as deoxygenated as softened water (this was how it was done in our factory over twenty years ago). 2. For boiler water, we use deoxygenated water (desalination first, followed by deoxygenation). 3. The commonly used term (as specified in standard guidelines) is demineralized water and deoxygenated water (deoxygenated water is obtained by further deoxygenating demineralized water). Deoxygenated water is used for feeding water into boilers, while demineralized water is used for feeding water into deoxygenators, as well as for various process applications.

Demineralized water is water from which the vast majority of metal ions have been removed. Compounds formed by the combination of metal ions and non-metal ions are known as salts, which is why it is called demineralized water.
