Renovation of mixing device

This post was last edited by Ah on 2016-12-12 at 14:45. The gears of the reducer in the mixing device are stuck; the reducer has to be replaced frequently. What could be the reason for this? The input speed of the reducer is 1440, while the output speed is 48. The motor power is 7.5 kilowatts. What could be the cause? The material being mixed is limestone, and the model of the equipment is CF920-7.5/48
The gearbox has never been disassembled, so it’s impossible to determine whether the gears are worn out
This post was last edited by jinqhuaxz on 2016-11-29 06:12. It’s better to listen to the noise; experienced technicians can \"diagnose\" the issue by listening carefully, :lol But if the gearbox is changed frequently, it’s likely not related to the gearbox itself.
Your situation is somewhat similar to mine: I handle PP powder, and there is a lot of dust. I believe that the dust gets into the motor bearings due to failures in their sealing, which in turn leads to a loss of lubrication inside the reducer; this ultimately results in the failure of one of the components or even the entire unit
What model of reducer is being used? I need to know the model first to make a judgment.
