I would like to ask everyone: what is the working principle of a pipe cooler, and is it suitable for cooling semi-water gas? Thank you.
In the semi-water gas desulfurization unit, the high temperatures due to recent weather conditions have increased the cooling load; meanwhile, the insufficient cooling capacity of its own cooling system has resulted in poor desulfurization efficiency, higher temperatures of the gas exiting the unit, and reduced efficiency of the high-pressure compressor. Do any fellow sea travelers have any good suggestions? Someone suggested installing a pipe cooler; I’m not sure if this approach is feasible, so I hope everyone can offer some advice.

Yes, the principle is similar to that of air cooling. Since the gas pipeline is large (1200mm), I’m not sure if such a cooler exists.
