Current prices: From June 22nd to 26th, the market prices of BOPP in China declined. In the East and North China regions, the standard price for thick films remained at 10,400–10,500 yuan per ton, while in South China, due to higher raw material costs, the standard price for thick films was 10,500–10,600 yuan per ton. Downstream delivery issues persist, manufacturers are highly willing to offer discounts, leaving significant room for negotiation on actual prices. Market analysis: From June 22 to 26, the overall price of PP in the domestic market remained relatively stable, with prices fluctuating slightly, by around 50 yuan per ton. In the petrochemical sector, Sinopec North China continued to implement sporadic price cuts; a bearish sentiment prevailed in the North China market, with most suppliers offering discounts when selling their products. Under the impact of price cuts on medium and low-melting polypropylene grades by Sinopec East China, the prices of PP copolymers in East China dropped by 50–100 yuan per ton, while prices for filament-grade products remained relatively stable. In the South China market, due to weak demand from downstream industries, suppliers tentatively raised prices by a small amount of 50 yuan per ton. The mainstream price for PP drawn strands is 8,450–8,900 yuan, while that for low-melting copolymers is 9,150–10,000 yuan.
