I hope experts can advise me on filter selection. Operating condition: Inlet of cooling water circulation pump, motor 75kw ； Pipe diameter DN300 ； I want to use a Y-type filter, but what range should I choose for the mesh size?
It depends on what you want to filter What impurities are present in circulating water, what are their sizes, and what are the standard requirements for impurities in the water after filtration?
Mainly impurities such as filtered sand and insects in groundwater
You can decide the mesh size yourself; it’s usually around 40 mesh, and the filtration area is three times the diameter of the tube!
If the requirements for circulating water quality are not high, the mesh size is generally between 20 and 40; for higher requirements, 60 or 80 can be used
