Material of the compressor oil cooler

I was wondering if anyone knows what material is used for the compressor oil cooler in ethylene plants; is the material of the tube bundle and other components the same? We’ve switched to 316L here. Considering the chloride ions in circulating water, will it work? Weren’t naval copper materials used before?
Using 316L material is fine; for 300-series stainless steels, the chloride ion limit in circulating water is specified at temperatures below 60 degrees Celsius, and according to the standards this limit can go up to 700 ppm.
