It is reported that the vinyl chloride production process technology used by Inner Mongolia Haiji Chlor-Alkali Company is based on the process package provided by the Dutch company John Brown. Due to the long delay in introducing the technology, incomplete technical drawings and documents, and the fact that the contract signed with foreign partners was already beyond its mechanical warranty period, Inner Mongolia Haiji Chlor-Alkali Company was forced to carry out research and development on its own. On the basis of fully digesting and absorbing the originally introduced technologies, they carried out numerous technical improvements and innovations. After 5 years of hard work, new technologies with independent intellectual property rights were gradually developed, and the facility was put into operation in September 2004. On this basis, the company continued to increase its investment in technology, implementing technical upgrades promptly to address the issues that arose during production. By 2006, it had achieved full capacity and met all the requirements; its output, quality, and consumption metrics all met or exceeded those specified in the original process design.

Inner Mongolia Haiji Chlor-Alkali has been acquired by Hubei Yihua; it is currently under Inner Mongolia Yihua’s control
