Our company’s reciprocating pump passes through a reduction gearbox before reaching the crankshaft. How do I determine the maximum and minimum rotational speeds of the crankshaft?
Take a close look at the gearbox label to see if it indicates the input speed and output speed
If you know the motor speed and the reduction ratio of the gearbox, you can determine the crankshaft speed.
The motor speed, apart from the reduction ratio, is its fixed speed; if there is a range of maximum and minimum values, this is achieved through methods such as motor frequency conversion
