In a coal-to-oil project, what is the proportion of the costs associated with instruments and DCS systems in the total cost of the project?
Are there any regulations regarding this as well? Our factory’s total investment in 5Y instruments is only 300 watts
Three million seems a bit low. Where is DCS located, and how many points are there?
There are not many I/O points; they are from Zhejiang University’s Central Control system, and the details haven’t been finalized yet. To be honest, I wouldn’t have left if I hadn’t found a place to work. The small factory moved here from Jiangyin, and its operators were brought from there as well. Previously, the company didn’t have any personnel specialized in instrumentation; now, however, chemical companies are required to have automated control systems, which is why they hired us two. But we’re only responsible for the technical aspects – no one else listens to us. Everyone, from the boss down to the employees, thinks that instrumentation is just a waste of money, something meant only to meet regulatory requirements as a form of decoration.
Our project costs 100 million, and the DCS control system costs over 3 million, not including instruments and power distribution.
