The Jiangsu Changshu New Materials Industrial Park was established in October 1999, and in July 2001 it was approved by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province as the “Jiangsu High-Tech Fluorine Chemistry Industrial Park”. Due to its distinct industrial characteristics and advantages in the field of fluorine chemicals, it was named \"China Fluorine Chemical Industry Park\" by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association in December 2006. In July 2008, in order to further promote the development of the industrial park and implement the policies aimed at fostering the growth of the new materials industry, it was given the name “Jiangsu Changshu New Materials Industrial Park”. It became the fourth largest economic sector in Changshu City, with a focus on developing industries such as new materials, fluorine chemicals, fine chemicals, and biomedicine. The park is located in the southeast of Jiangsu Province. It is bordered to the north by the Yangtze River, with Nantong across the river; it is 100 kilometers away from Shanghai to the east, and 50 kilometers away from Suzhou to the south as well as Wuxi to the west. High-speed roads, advanced highway networks, high-speed railways, light rails, and inland waterways together form a convenient and efficient modern multi-modal transportation network in the area. The planned area of the park is 15.02 square kilometers, of which 8 square kilometers have been developed. A road network consisting of five vertical and five horizontal routes has been established, achieving the requirement of \"nine connections and one leveling.\" All necessary infrastructure systems are in place, including roads, electricity, communications, heating, sewage treatment, rainwater management, natural gas, tap water, and industrial water supply. Public facilities such as fire stations, cogeneration plants, sewage treatment plants, and drainage stations, along with environmental improvement projects, have all been put into use. Facing new historical opportunities, the park will adhere to the development philosophy of \"technological innovation and green civilization,\" strive to improve the overall environment, and enhance service standards, aiming to build itself into a first-class domestic and internationally advanced professional, specialized ecological industrial park. Looking to the future, this place will be a hub for technological innovation, a prosperous area full of potential, and a location with harmonious ecology and favorable feng shui. We welcome the marine industry professionals in this park to actively participate in the forum discussions and leverage their industry expertise.
China Fluorine Chemical Industrial Park – that title is a bit too grand: lol
It’s not far away; we can go for a run.
Jiaozuo and Zibo also have fluorine chemical industrial parks
Is it new? It’s very close to my home, only 20 kilometers away.
It’s been over a decade since it was built. Where are you from?
I worked there, and the pollution is something that cannot be ignored.
