The company is currently conducting tenders for DCS systems, and I would like to ask those in this forum: what are the mainstream domestic brands of proprietary DCS control systems? What versions do they have respectively? Then which one is rated the best?
The truly mainstream ones are Allen-Bradley and Zhejiang Zhongkong. Central Control is strong in the chemical industry; ECS700 is used for large projects, while ECS100 is used for smaller projects. Of course, there is also its older system, JX300XP. Among them, the ECS700 can be regarded as the pinnacle of domestic DCS systems. Hollyland is strong in the power plant sector; currently, they promote their KM hardware combined with the MACS 6.5.3 software. People generally prefer central control systems; the software programming and configuration for Allen-Bradley are rather complicated.
The chemical industry uses SUPCON for central control, while power plants use both Central Control and HollySys. Others can be used for price comparison. It is recommended to use imported products if possible; they are quite cheap these days
Given the small scale, domestic DCS systems can definitely be considered, as they offer convenient after-sales service and are cost-effective.
Imported brands include Emerson, Foxboro, Honeywell, Yokogawa, ABB, etc., while domestic brands are Zhongkong and HollySys. If budget is a concern, choose domestic options. It is best to have an integrator’s after-sales service center at the site to resolve issues.
For smaller projects, domestic options are viable; for larger projects, it is recommended to use imported ones, as they offer higher stability and more mature technology. It’s just a bit more expensive
For imported systems, the options include Honeywell, Emerson, ABB, FOXBORO, and HEGUO. Domestic brands available include Zhejiang University Control Systems, which is focused on the petrochemical industry; LISI, which serves the power industry; Xinhua; and Guodian Zhishen
