Corrosion in the extraction and recovery systems of MTBE plants has been a persistent issue; how do various manufacturers monitor the pH value of the extraction water? Is it scheduled analysis or real-time monitoring?
It depends on how often the extracted and recovered water is replaced during operation； I’m in a somewhat underdeveloped area; I just started using pH test strips and test them once every two days. If the pH level is too low, I change the water ； Monitoring is no longer carried out; even pH test strips are unnecessary, and the extracted and recovered water is replaced once a week.
What’s the approximate amount that needs to be replaced? What is the pH value of the extracted water?
