I have recently been studying pressurized gasification of coal particles, and I have a question for everyone: what is the difference between a hot torch and a cold torch in pressurized gasification of coal particles, and what kind of fuel is used in each?

The function of the cold torch in pressurized coal gasification is to discharge raw gas during the stages of steam heating and air ignition in the gasifier. After air ignition, once the levels of CO2 and oxygen are found to be satisfactory, the raw gas is directed to the start-up torch, with liquefied gas serving as the combustion medium. During the oxygen removal phase, the raw gas is diverted from the start-up torch to the cold torch, again using fuel gas as the combustion medium; once the conditions are appropriate, it is switched back to the start-up torch. In pressurized coal gasification, one start-up torch and one cold torch are generally shared across multiple gasifiers in a single series.
It should be switched from the cold flare to the startup flare.
The cold flare discharges raw gas with an oxygen content that does not meet the specifications after analysis, while the hot flare discharges raw gas whose oxygen content meets the specifications after analysis
So is there rough gas with emissions from both at normal times?
They are all driving torches, used only during the driving phase
Our system originally used a hot flare, but it was later changed to a cold flare; the hot flare is no longer needed. Furthermore, how are cold and hot torches defined? In my opinion, a cold flare is used for direct venting, while a hot flare burns the material before venting it.

For pulverized coal gasification, a flare is designed now, called the startup flare; it is used to discharge gases from the system when the gas quality is not satisfactory or during shutdowns. If the oxygen content in the gas is within acceptable levels, it can be ignited; otherwise, the gas is vented. Specifically, there are cold flares and hot flares; both are connected to the main flare in the entire plant. The flare used for discharging low-temperature gases is called a cold flare, such as CNJ, while those used for discharging high-temperature gases are known as hot flares. Both hot flares and cold flares can be used for discharge, combustion, pressure relief, and other purposes.
