1. I have a question regarding the selection of manholes: what should be done if a vertical lidded design is chosen and the working pressure exceeds 4 Mpa? The maximum pressure for the vertical lid is 4 Mpa. 2. The material of the equipment is 304; the vertical lids are made of 15CrMo – can this material replace 304? 3. The design pressure is 3.0 MPa, with a diameter of 800 mm; a 450 series manhole should be used. The reinforcement for the pipe opening (480x22) has just been installed.
The wall reinforcement ring can be made by oneself based on the actual conditions on site, so there is no need to purchase it. If the pressure is high, well, it’s still better than low, right? When purchasing manholes, ask the procurement department to include all the gaskets, otherwise you will have to measure them yourself and make the purchase, which is a hassle.
If the standard specifications cannot be met, consider using non-standard components, that is, adopting a design in which a blind flange is welded to the pipe end to form the boom

Can I use the flange 47023?
Welded flanges can be chosen; it is recommended to reduce their thickness slightly from the standard value, as long as the required stress level is met, which facilitates handling. Reinforcement plates can be fabricated on-site, and 480 is clearly not suitable for this purpose

It was decided to go with a DN400 model, following the design scheme of a vertically hanging cover with a neck for butt welding; the flanges and flange covers will be made of material weighing 63 kilograms. (Design temperature: 190°C; design pressure: 3.0 Mpa; equipment diameter: 800; material: 304)
That seems to be a device flange~ I’m not sure if you need a device flange~ but it has nothing to do with manholes, right?~
