In China, it is referred to as “eyewash device,” a term that is well-known to everyone. There are two terms worth paying attention to here: 1. The meaning of “shower”: We generally understand this as “sprayer,” but in these eyewash standards, some people suggest using the term “flusher.” Which term is more appropriate? 2. The meaning of eye/face wash: We understand it as an “eye/face washer,” but in the standards for such washers, some people suggest using the term “eye/face cleaning device.” Which term is more appropriate? Since it’s a Chinese standard for eye washers, don’t come up with any ridiculous ideas when formulating it. It is estimated that the Chinese standard for eye washers will be finalized this year, with a draft of the standard to be released by the end of the year for public comment.
