I have been working on the diazotization of aniline derivatives with fluoroboric acids followed by salt hydrolysis to introduce fluorine, and I have a few questions for everyone. 2. I saw someone say that after turning it into salt, a plate test can be done to check whether the salt is complete; I used petroleum ether and ethyl acetate for climbing before. Will petroleum ether and ethyl acetate work for this purpose as well? What reagent is used for sample dissolution? Which wavelength is used for color development? Mine seems to have only two wavelength options.
Carrying out this reaction relies mainly on experience, as analytical testing methods are not very effective.
