The Tenderer shall inform the Company of the Tenderer’s liability regarding withholding tax, in accordance with the Tenderer’s planned approach to carrying out the Contract as required by Section T2, Article 3.3. It is this sentence – I translated “withholding tax” as “withholding income tax”. This sentence is really too long; I simply can’t understand it. Phrases like \"of\", \"with respect to\", \"based on\", \"for\", \"in accordance with\"… all put together make me feel sick. . . .
@bamboobamboo @Selene Business
@Saiqi Business, I made a mistake just now; sorry
The bidder shall inform the Company of its liability regarding withholding tax, based on the planned setup for the execution of the Contract in accordance with the requirements of Section T2, Article 3.3. When the bidder plans to carry out the contract in line with the requirements of Section T2, Chapter 3.3, it is responsible for stating the amount of income tax that must be withheld. Let it be; I don’t understand it anyway.
What exactly does “liability” mean here??? It’s confusing
I don’t know; aren’t your leaders very great? Ask him to go. :handshake
. . . . . . . Are you referring to the argument I had with you? That was the quality manager; they left a few months ago.
I don’t know; I’m busy right now. Why don’t you ask other people or your colleagues instead? :handshake
Okay, I’ll think about it again; I won’t ask them. They don’t understand.
