Where does the gas from the top of the acidic water degassing tank go? Where does this gas end up? 1. Flare stack; 2. Gas holder. However, sending this gas to a gas holder can lead to salt buildup in the compressors. What form does the salt in this gas take?
The salts in this portion are mainly thermostable salts, caused primarily by ammonia and other impurities present in the acidic gas feedstock!
If it’s not treated and goes straight to the gas holder, won’t that cause salt buildup in the compressor of the solvent gas holder?
There are already mature processes available for the treatment of this gas. 1. Pressurization using a water ring vacuum pump 2. Ammonia removal by water washing ； 3. Amine to remove hydrogen sulfide 4. Remove from low-pressure gas system.
