Is there anything else required for the flowmeter field transmitter that performs temperature and pressure compensation?
It seems that only the 3051SMV multi-parameter model from Rosemount can do this at the moment; if that’s the case, no additional settings are needed – it can be connected to the system directly. But the prerequisite is that the instruments must be properly configured, set according to the conditions in your actual operation site.
I don’t understand; there are temperature and pressure compensations that are implemented on-site as well as those via DCS
It’s not necessary; compensation can be done on-site or at the DCS side. If you don’t mind, please share your on-site transmitter system so we can discuss it further
On-site: Temperature transmitters measure temperature, pressure transmitters measure pressure, differential pressure flowmeters measure differential pressure......
