Regarding heat treatment using electric heating strips

For equipment inspection, repair, and modification, 8-mm-thick 15CrMoR steel plates are used as protective lining plates for the tank, including the bottom plate and side wall plates, with installation carried out on-site. Can an electric heating strip be used to remove hydrogen from the weld seam and for post-weld heat treatment? What is the performance of electric heating strips? The tank diameter is 3400 mm. I don’t have any experience in this area, so I’m seeking advice from everyone.
The temperature control and heat treatment effects of electric heating should be better than those of fuel or gas. However, it must be equipped with a control cabinet, the temperature measurement points must be properly arranged, and good thermal insulation protection is required.
What’s important are the temperature monitoring points; it’s best if they can be connected to a computer. There should be graphs on the computer showing how the temperature changes. This is exactly what we did with our 56MM thick-walled single-layer products in the past!
Using an electric heating strip works well; a temperature control unit is installed to regulate the temperature according to a predetermined curve, maintaining a constant temperature of 700–750 degrees for 2 hours
