As the original poster said, there aren’t many solid particles, but it’s still clear that some particles are present; it is recommended not to use a magnetic pump in such cases. As for the excess current, the shaft power can be calculated based on the specific gravity of the material, thereby determining the size of the motor required.

The absorbing liquid is sodium bisulfite, with a pH of 5-6. It is best to use 321 or 316L materials for the components that come into contact with the material. Usage experience: It’s very useful.
A regular centrifugal pump can be chosen, equipped with a mechanical seal; if there are solid particles present, hard-to-hard seals should be used for the stationary and rotating rings. External flushing is preferred if possible, otherwise PLAN31 could be considered. The material of the pump itself should be 316L or higher.
