It is stipulated that drinking and eating are prohibited in the production area! So, does this production area include the control room? Is it okay to eat in the control room? Today, an employee was fined for eating in the control room! This is controversial! Is there any reasonable explanation?
Each company has its own management style; eating snacks is not allowed in the production areas, but it’s okay to eat in places like control rooms and operation rooms. . .
I think so too; after all, it’s hot, so it’s okay to drink water in the control room. If you can drink water, why not eat something as well?

There are computers and keyboards in the control room, so it is not allowed; it is permissible in the outdoor control room, and even a separate room for eating and drinking can be set up there. Meals are generally required to be taken at fixed times, and one should keep clean after the meal time.
I’m not sure; it probably depends on what you eat If it can be finished in a few bites and it doesn’t affect work, then I think it’s fine ; If you prepare a boxed meal or instant noodles and eat them in a few minutes, I wonder if that will affect your work?
The key point is that there’s no distinction between internal and external operations here; there’s just one control room equipped with computers and analytical instruments! ;P Everything else is now production area! Small workshop! If this isn’t allowed, how will night shift workers eat? Can time pass without eating or drinking? Didn’t even have a place to drink water at the last workplace? If drinking water is allowed, then eating isn’t allowed?
But after all, employees on shift have to stay up late, right? One always has to eat something, right?
A dedicated place for eating should be created, rather than eating inside the control room.
So what should we do? Is there a place specifically for eating? Alternatively, establish rules for meal times: one person must be assigned to monitor the activities in the control room. If everyone is eating, then I’m sorry – there will be a penalty ; As long as there’s someone watching over it, it should be fine, right?
It is not allowed to eat in the control room; drinking water is permitted, but water cups must not be placed on the desks where computers are located……
