Hello everyone. After membrane filtration of our company’s fermentation broth, a viscous concentrated liquid remains. We would like to precipitate the contents in this concentrated liquid and filter them out using a pressure filter. Do you have any good suggestions?
First, it is necessary to determine what substances are present in the concentrated liquid and whether it is worth recovering. If not, solid-liquid separation is the only option: the liquid is sent to the wastewater treatment system, while the solids are treated as waste.
