RT I obtained the title of intermediate engineer in December 2012. I would like to ask my fellow professionals: when will I be eligible to apply for the title of senior engineer? Can it be next year? That’s how I calculated it: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016. . . Z. Well, that’s exactly 5 years, isn’t it? . . Additionally, I have a master’s degree in engineering obtained through on-the-job study; when applying, is computer science one module or are 4 modules required? . . Of course, I have already taken the exams for the 4 modules. . . I hope fellow sailors will not hesitate to share their insights. Thank you
You’d better ask when your organization plans to hire you after the evaluation; the evaluation and hiring are separate processes, and one needs to have worked for 5 years before being eligible for a higher rank.
The associate senior level is reached 5 years after obtaining the intermediate certificate, which would be from December 2017. As for the number of computer-related modules, please consult the local personnel department or the HR department of your organization

After working as a mid-level employee for 5 years, one can apply for the senior level. You’ve passed the intermediate level; could you please explain how to prepare a work performance certificate?
Obtaining an intermediate certificate only qualifies one to be appointed as an engineer; it doesn’t count if the employer does not appoint them. As for the senior level, one must have been employed for a full 5 years before being eligible to apply; it’s not exactly the same concept.
What if I change jobs during these five years? How is that supposed to work? Does a job contract also have to be required?
