The company has a very old refrigeration compressor, but it uses lubricant quite effectively. The lubricant costs 27,000 yuan per 55-gallon barrel, and two barrels need to be added at a time. I consulted the refrigeration machine manufacturer, who said that the type of lubricant used is determined based on various parameters, and it cannot be changed. Additionally, if another type of lubricant is used, it will be difficult to clean the oil inside the machine completely, which may lead to a mixture of the two types of lubricants and affect performance. It could also result in significant losses of refrigerant.
While the equipment is under warranty, follow the manufacturer’s instructions; after that, consult the lubricant manufacturer to determine which type of lubricant can be used as a substitute.

It can be replaced; compressor manufacturers do not produce lubricants on their own – they work in partnership with lubricant manufacturers to carry out OEM production under licensed brands.
