Reasons for the blackening of oil on the second and third lines

Recently, the distillates from lines 2 and 3 of my vacuum distillation unit have become somewhat black in color. I’m not sure what could be causing this. We use Bohai heavy crude oil for processing, and I would like to ask the experts: is it common for the distillates to turn black when processing this type of oil? If there are any brothers who have experience in processing, please give some guidance.

This type of oil contains more light components compared to the oil produced previously; therefore, the operating parameters need to be adjusted – the temperature in the bottom of the distillation column must be reduced, as well as the vacuum level. The altered components have evaporated.
