How old is your air separation unit? Is a fan that can operate in forward and reverse directions actually being used? Here, only the turbine units in the power plant use forward and reverse flow fans
Are not reversible fans used in the air-coolers associated with air separation turbines? If they are all directly cooled and the environment is the same, the control measures should be the same as well!
There are those with forward and reverse rotation, and that’s exactly how we are. However, it seems that there is no coil heating for anti-freezing; we have added low-pressure steam here to prevent freezing (in my understanding, this is used only during operation or in extreme weather conditions).
What is the actual performance of that external spraying system in real use? The effect of rushing to wake them up isn’t very noticeable, indeed
