I was wondering if there are anyone who is familiar with cryogenic purification processes. The ammonia synthesis unit of Chongqing Jianfeng Chemical Co., Ltd.’s fertilizer division uses cryogenic purification after the methanation step. What is the temperature reached during this cryogenic purification process?
By deep cryogenic purification, do you mean purification using the low-temperature methanol washing process or the liquid nitrogen washing process? Low-temperature methanol washing purification at -60°C is primarily aimed at removing components such as H2S, CO2, COS, RSH, HCN, NO, and NH3, while liquid nitrogen washing purification at -198°C is mainly used to remove components like CO, Ar, and CH4.
