For coal-fired boiler dust removal systems, our company uses high-efficiency multi-tube dust collectors; however, the environmental impact assessment specifies XTD multi-tube dust collectors. Could anyone among you help me understand what XTD means?
What do the letters XTD stand for? There is only this model; I don’t know what it means
It might be a model designated internally by the company; dust collectors are custom-made devices and do not have standard specifications or models
The full name of XTD multi-tube dust collector is ceramic multi-tube dust collector. T stands for ceramic, as the rotating core inside the dust collector is made of ceramic; there are also cores made of cast iron. D stands for multiple tubes; as the name suggests, it contains many tubes inside. X denotes that the ceramic form can be of the inclined-tube type; later on, this form was adopted uniformly.
