For the fluid pipes of 8163, what standard flanges should be used for connection – the chemical industry standard or the national standard?
Pipelines using 8163 tubing generally handle high-temperature and high-pressure media, and national standards should be followed.
It depends on what kind of company you are; if it’s a petrochemical company, use the petrochemical standards, while if it’s a small or medium-sized chemical company, the chemical industry standards can be applied.
This is entirely chosen based on your own requirements. SH or HG, either works; but the national standard is generally not used. SH3406 or HG20592A Series B, or HG20615, or ASME16.5 differ in manufacturing requirements and testing standards, as well as in price and dimensions. But there is no essential difference in terms of usage. SH3406 and HG20615 are equivalent to ASME16.5 in China. (although there are very slight differences that can be ignored)
