On larger motors, there is a pointer that points to three wires: two black ones on either side and one red one in the middle. What is it for?

The plunger pumps and motors in our factory are still being installed. I noticed that on the motor’s coupling, as well as on the shaft, there are three wires: red in the middle and black on either side. The pointer points to the red wire in the middle. What does that mean? Is it the operating area of the bearing, or something else? I need a detailed solution.
