For an EPC renovation project in the edge chemical industry, the owner, the general contractor, and the designer agreed to use the original valve specifications; the owner provided the old construction drawings, and we simply followed those designs. During the model review, I went to the site and found that the valves were severely corroded outside; this was likely due to an acidic environment inside the factory. I conducted an informal analysis of the possible causes, but they still decided not to make any changes. After the drawings were issued, the general contractor found that the valve models were uncommon, and there were many technical requirements that were difficult to address; they asked us to prepare a specification sheet for the valves. I said it’s not necessary; we can use the model specified in the original construction drawings, as that was the agreement from the start. They said the model on the original construction drawings was not clear enough and not unique. And we showed our construction drawings, which were made by a young guy; in the comprehensive material list, he added a note stating that for valves, refer to the valve specifications. The general contractor has requested that we provide a valve specification sheet based on this. The guy has left the job; it seems that this sentence was already in the template he used for the material list, and he forgot to delete it – all other sections had that sentence removed. What should I do about it?
As agreed initially, delete this sentence.
Then come up with a specification sheet – use the best materials, who cares;P

It’s very simple: issue a design change to remove that sentence； If a specification sheet must be prepared, write down the model specified in the original construction drawings.
