If the temperature inside the chamber of a Pek valve is high, it is prone to damage; however, only a small piece may fall off, which leads to a decrease in efficiency and an increase in temperature. In such cases, the compressor’s operation isn’t affected for a short time, but if the damage becomes more severe, the valve needs to be replaced. Generally, we replace it every 3–4 months, especially under more severe operating conditions.
For the units of model H223R in our company, the air valves used in sections one, two, and three are made of PEEK material; they can last for over a year, which is great. Our electrostatic precipitators, on the other hand, are not that good.

PEEK is better; hydrogen sulfide is corrosive, and stainless steel can also be corroded. You’re talking about pressure; when designing gas valves, it’s crucial to consider the pressure difference between intake and exhaust!
