Are the shaft seal nitrogen and shaft seal steam, along with their outlet vents, all in the same pipe?
Is there shaft seal nitrogen too? ? I know about dry gas seals: level 1, level 2, and procurement. . I’ve never heard of nitrogen for shaft sealing; I’ve only heard of steam for that purpose
Shaft seal nitrogen is used on both sides of the turbine, between the steam and the lubricating oil, to prevent the oil from mixing with the steam.
The nitrogen used for shaft sealing, as you mentioned, is collectively referred to as isolation gas. Shaft sealing steam is isolation steam, while isolation gas is used for lubrication purposes. Therefore, shaft sealing steam and isolation gas are discharged separately
It’s probably the shaft seal nitrogen that has mixed up with the outlet of the shaft seal steam
The isolation gas and the shaft seal steam must be separated
