The atmospheric pressure bottom oil sampler is located in front of the residue pump; what parameters does it measure, and can it be moved to after heat exchange? What are the things to pay attention to when setting up a sampler? I hope the experts can give some advice! ! !
Is there a heat exchanger at the bottom of the atmospheric pressure tower? What is atmospheric residue used for? Why are heat exchangers needed? If it is a single process, that is, it has only one function, then it can be moved to a sampling location with lower temperatures. However, if the residue oil has both uses A and B, and process A involves heat exchange while process B does not, then it is not suitable to move it
Only normal pressure and no reduced pressure? The sampling temperature should not be too low
The fact that there is no pressure reduction and that the sampling temperature should not be too low means it is possible to take samples behind the heat exchanger? What is this sampling used to test?
Is it not easy to sample now? The temperature after the replacement should be high, right? Where has the normal slag gone? To the catalyst?
No, I want to know whether sampling can be done after heat exchange; also, sampling of the catalyzed residue should be carried out before it exits the tower and enters the pump. What is the rationale for sampling at high temperatures? The common slag is sold as a product for use in catalysis.
Without pressure reduction, for regular slag sampling, it is sufficient to add a new sampler after heat exchange, which enhances safety during sampling.
Personally, I think sampling can be done after heat exchange, and sampling after heat exchange is safer
There’s probably no need to measure temperature-related data in normal slag, right? Unless the back route is mixed with other media, the sampling location will then be determined.
Add a high-temperature sampler; it can be placed anywhere, as long as the effect of oil sealing is not taken into account
Be sure to install purging facilities; our unit previously installed one without paying attention to this requirement, and without such facilities it became unusable after just one use!
