Shanghai is really a trap, a place for people from other places

Based on professional qualifications, one’s household registration documents are in another place; other regions require that the company be located there as well, with social insurance coverage of at least one year. As for Shanghai, another requirement is to hold a residence permit for at least one year, and obtaining such a residence permit is quite troublesome……
Thinking Shanghai is a scam? There are holes everywhere.
Other places might exploit local residents, but not Shanghai. It’s very difficult to obtain a household registration or residence permit in Shanghai; foreigners, on the other hand, aren’t affected by where their household registration documents are located

Shanghai is at the forefront of all policy reforms in the country; if things are not good here, it’s unlikely that any other place is better
I can say that Shanghai is, by far, the most complicated city I’ve encountered – it has the most bureaucratic procedures. Simply put, there are too many people from other places, and in order to exclude them, various obstacles are created. In Nanjing, as long as you have social insurance and work at an employer based in Nanjing, you can rely on your professional title; but take a look at the requirements in Shanghai
In Shanghai, there are so many people, that’s why thresholds need to be set...... You know what I mean......

The advantage of small places is that everything becomes easy as long as you find the right person; the disadvantage is that if you don’t find the right person, nothing might get done. The smaller the area, the more obvious it is ； The advantage of a large place is that one can get things done even without any acquaintances around, while the downside is that no one can help you if you can’t overcome certain obstacles; this becomes more apparent the larger the place. Of course, there are always exceptions.
