This post was last edited by xlw180 on 2015-9-20 at 15:08. We mainly use batch nitration; in some cases, mixed acid is added drop by drop, while in other cases only *AO acid is added drop by drop. The temperature is generally around 20, and cryogenic conditions will suffice. We generally follow the design approaches of our predecessors; I’m not sure if there are any additional design guidelines available. It is said online that there is Document No. 108 from Lu An Jian in 2009, but I cannot find it for download.
It is recommended to switch to a pipe reactor in order to reduce the inventory of materials within the system
