Are the color codes applied differently during construction for pipes made of different materials? Are they in a one-to-one correspondence? In other words, as long as the color markings on them appear to be the same when viewed in person, does that mean the materials of these two pipes are the same? Thank you
This can be specified by the project, with different materials distinguished by specific colors. I remember that in one project, color codes were assigned as follows: 304 yellow, 316 red, 1.25Cr-0.5Mo brown, and so on. The color code should be applied along the entire length of the pipeline.
This color code should be applied at the time the material leaves the factory or during inspection upon arrival at the site, right? It replaces the function of marker transplantation to prevent incorrect use of materials. It won’t be painted once the actual construction and installation take place.
