When counting bolts and nuts in axonometric drawings, is it generally the number of individual items or the number of sets? In 20519, it is stipulated that for manual data collection, the exact number of studs should be indicated in the studs column ； For computerized statistical materials, indicate the number of flange connectors in the columns for studs and nuts. I don’t quite understand the reason for this division. What are computerized statistical materials? Does it refer to generating drawings using 3D software? Are even small software tools used for statistical analysis considered computer-based statistical materials? Is using CAD for drawing still based on computer statistics?
It should be the number of sets. The bolts and nuts used for pipe flanges should be double-ended, and in the material list, one stud together with two nuts is generally listed as one item of material.
The company’s 3D piping is sold in units, while I used to count them when drawing manually. Logically, both should work. Don’t get it mixed up; unity is what matters.
