What are the steps for transformer zero shift?
It should be the steps for zero point migration of the transmitter.
For transmitters, migration can be carried out on-site. That is, after the transmitter is installed in place, before it starts operating, when the transmitter is under its original loading conditions on the positive and negative sides, its output is not 4mA. At this point, a zero-setting potentiometer, a migration potentiometer, or a handheld controller (for smart transmitters) is used to adjust the transmitter’s output to 4mA, thereby completing the zero-point migration.
For smart transmitters, the zero point and range can be set directly via the handheld operator, without the need for zero point shifting as is required for Type II and Type III instruments.
