Is there a difference between the professional qualification registration for registered safety engineers and the registration itself? Isn’t it the same thing? According to the Interim Provisions on the Professional Qualifications for Registered Safety Engineers, the registration process for such qualifications is carried out after preliminary approval by the provincial work safety supervision agencies. The validity period is 2 years, and re-registration procedures should be applied for 3 months before it expires. According to the Provisions on the Management of Registered Safety Engineers, the registration of such engineers is first reviewed by the provincial work safety supervision bureaus; after approval by the State Work Safety Administration, a practice certificate is issued. The validity period is 3 years, and the renewal registration procedure should be applied for 30 days before it expires.
