May I ask, if there are many openings, should I choose a flat-ended head or an oval-ended head (the pressure is not very high)?
If the pressure is not high and the thickness is not large, then if both conditions are met, flat-top versions seem to be cheaper
I think this has a lot to do with design pressure, design temperature, and equipment diameter. Flat covers do not require stamping, but components that are subjected to bending stresses are generally quite thick, especially when both the design pressure and the diameter of the equipment are high ； And when there are many openings, resulting in a very large total diameter of the openings in the same radial direction, using a flat cover will lead to an excessively large required thickness. Personally, I still recommend using a convex head.
