What is the difference between fillet joints and fillet welds, and what are the differences in selecting welding procedures? ? ? ? Thank you! ! !
Transferred from ZhiDao: 1. There are only two types of welds: I. Butt welds； II. Fillet Welds 2. There are five types of joints: 1. Butt joint, 2. T-joint (cross joint), 3. Corner joint, 4. Root joint, 5. Lap joint ； . (Refer to the supplementary material JB/T4730 for details); the welds corresponding to 1, 4, and 5 are butt welds, while those corresponding to 2 and 3 are fillet welds. (Refer to JB/T4730 as supplementary material.) Therefore, a corner joint is not a fillet weld, but the corresponding weld is definitely a fillet weld
